Garuda Spark becomes a startup recovery engine in the midst of a difficult year
The Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi) is preparing Garuda Spark as a key strategy to revitalize the trust and resilience of the national startup ecosystem amidst the heavy pressures currently facing the digital industry.

Since its first three months of operation in Bandung, Garuda Spark has continued to be shaped as a concrete collaboration hub, not just a symbolic incubation space.

"The startup industry is indeed different from when it was first born to now, where it's full of challenges. So, how to face these challenges together is what Garuda Spark is trying to do by creating an ecosystem that brings together startups, investors, the government, and others," said Minister of Communication and Digital (Menkomdigi) Meutya Hafid in Bandung on Monday.

The Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs stated that since its launch on September 27, 2025, Garuda Spark Bandung has curated and mentored 10 new startups, some of which have already been launched to the public.

"The first thing we're pushing for is confidence. Garuda Spark is here to ensure startups don't go it alone," said Meutya.
