  The Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) emphasized the importance of synergy with the government and strengthening organizational independence to address the strategic national sports agenda in 2026, amidst policy dynamics and the challenges of fostering achievement.

The General Chairman of the Central KONI, Lieutenant General TNI Retired Marciano Norman, reflected on the dynamics throughout 2025, which he considered full of pressure, especially due to the implementation of Ministerial Regulation Number 14.

"The dynamics of 2025 are very high. The pressure from Youth and Sports Ministerial Regulation No. 14 truly presents a major challenge, but we remain solid and think rationally," Marciano said in a written statement
