Media reports have revealed that Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Saudi club Al-Nassr, is considering giving up his luxurious villa in Portugal despite having spent around £30 million on it

The Portuguese star had beenplanning to settle in his luxurious villa after retiring from football.

The property is located in the Quinta da Marinha area of Cascais. The palace covers an area of 5,000 square meters and includes two swimming pools, one indoor and the other outdoor, with an area of 37 square meters overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, in addition to a cinema, a gym, gardens and a garage that can accommodate 20 cars.

Reports indicate that the palace will have a private artificial beach and a golf course, and that its value is 25 million euros.

According to the Portuguese television program "V+ Fama," the primary concern behind this move was the lack of privacy, especially after Ronaldo's failed attempt to purchase adjacent land, including a plot belonging to a luxury hotel and a nearby golf course, to enhance security around his home.

Despite reports that the villa is up for sale, it's not out of the question that the property could host a significant personal event beforehand, as reports suggest that Ronaldo's wedding to his fiancée, Georgina Rodriguez, might take place there if a final agreement is reached.

If implemented, this move would be one of the most surprising decisions in the life of the Portuguese star, who seems to still be redrawing the contours of his future off the field.
