PSG failed to reach the last eight after being held to a 1-1 draw by Newcastle.

  Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) failed to reach the top eight and qualify directly for the round of 16 of the 2025/26 Champions League after being held to a 1-1 draw by Newcastle United in matchday eight of the league phase at the Parc des Princes on Thursday morning WIB.

This result means PSG finished 11th in the standings with 14 points, two points adrift of the top eight and must continue their fight through the playoffs.

Meanwhile, Newcastle are just below PSG on the same points and have also advanced to the playoff phase, as reported on the official UEFA website.
