PSG lost to Sporting, Enrique disappointed
  - Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) coach Luis Enrique was disappointed with his team's 1-2 defeat to Sporting CP in the 2025/2026 UEFA Champions League at the Jose Alvalade Stadium, Lisbon, Wednesday morning WIB.

"I think we did everything we could to win this game, and we were far superior. It feels so unfair, and it's frustrating for us as a team to accept," Enrique said, as quoted on PSG's official website.

The Spanish tactician was at a loss as to how PSG dominated the match, with 68 percent possession and a total of 28 shots, but only one resulted in a goal.

PSG actually scored another goal in the match through Warren Zaire-Emery (31'), but the goal was disallowed after the referee received input from VAR.
