A spokesperson for KRET, a subsidiary of the Rostec state corporation, reported that the first batch of "MobiVent Arm-T" portable ventilators was shipped at the beginning of 2026 for use in medical transport and patient transfer within hospitals.
The company's general manager, Alexander Pan, explained that Rostec's medical devices have become more technologically advanced and modern, noting that the company plans to produce about 100 devices annually.
The "MobiVent Arm" devices are available in two versions:
MobiVent Arm-T : Designed for transporting patients, including children, between or within hospitals.
MobiVent Arm-M : Designed for use in MRI rooms, it is the first Russian development of its kind.
The Director General noted that Rostec's range of medical products is expanding year after year, and that the launch of serial production of portable ventilators is the result of four years of continuous work by the workers and engineers of the KRET plant in the Russian Ural region in cooperation with hospital doctors.
The new ventilator was designed in direct collaboration with physicians to be comfortable and easy to use. For example, the touchscreen can be operated even when pressed with medical gloves.
