ONIC Esports midlaner Gilang "Sanz" is looking ahead to the M7 World Championship with strong motivation to lead his team in the hunt for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang world championship title, which will take place from January 10-25 in Jakarta.
"I always remember, 'What's the purpose of my coming to Jakarta?' So I always remember my parents, that I'm coming to Jakarta to bring home something luxurious for my family," Sanz said in a written statement received in Jakarta on Thursday.
"When I think about my family, it makes me want to prove to everyone that I'm better than anyone else, that I can improve every day and in every tournament, and that I'm not easily satisfied."
Sanz is one of the most senior players in the ONIC Esports squad, having played for the team since the M3 World Championship.
He has been a key part of ONIC's consistent run as Indonesia's representative in the M-Series, including appearances in M3, M4, and M5, as well as serving as the team's backbone in both domestic and international competitions.
