Sayu Bella aims for the 2026 Asian Games after winning gold in Thailand
  Indonesian mountain biker Sayu Bella Sukma Dewi is aiming for success at the 2026 Aichi–Nagoya Asian Games and the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics after opening 2026 by winning a gold medal at the Thailand Mountain Bike Cup Cross-Country Olympic (XCO) in Thailand on January 14, 2026.

The Balinese athlete, who won gold in the 2023 SEA Games XCO, dominated the Women's Elite class with a fastest finish of 1 hour 6 minutes 49.706 seconds, beating Japanese racer Yui Ishida with a time of 1 hour 10 minutes 08.813 seconds.

"My hope for 2026 is to become a calmer and more patient person so I can perform at my best in every race and prepare for the Asian Games, and even the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics," Sayu said in a written statement received.
