Senegal: the Lions of Teranga eagerly awaited [Africanews Today]

Barely recovered from its emotions, the Senegalese football team is about to return home this Monday evening after winning the CAN 2025 final, 1-0 against host country Morocco. A triumphant return after a match full of twists and turns, which kept Teranga Lions supporters in suspense before expressing their joy.

No substantial negotiations are planned at this time.

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul visits Nairobi, Kenya on Wednesday January 21. This official visit comes after a first meeting between the Kenyan First Cabinet Secretary and the German Ambassador to Kenya last week in order to strengthen bilateral relations. Johann Wadephul continues his tour in Ethiopia the next day.
