Shayne had no hesitation in accepting Persija's offer

  New Persija Jakarta player Shayne Pattynama had no hesitation in accepting the offer from the club nicknamed the Kemayoran Tigers, even though he had never played in Indonesia before.

Persija officially signed Shayne on Friday (January 23rd). Shayne is the latest player to be brought in by Persija ahead of the second half of the 2025/2026 BRI Super League season.

"There's no doubt. Because I know, ultimately, this is a new club, but I know Indonesia and I know the people. And for me, this isn't really an adaptation or something new," Shayne said when met at the Persija Training Ground in Depok on Tuesday.
