X limits Grok image creation to paying customers only

  Elon Musk's artificial intelligence (AI) company, Grok, has limited its image-making feature to paid customers on the X platform.

As reported by Techcruch on Friday local time, the policy was taken after inviting strong criticism from various groups from around the world because it allows users to create pornographic images.

In a statement, Grok said that only paying subscribers on X can create and edit images on the platform.
