Dewa United coach Jan Olde Riekerink expressed relief that his team was able to return to winning ways after defeating PSM Makassar 2-0 in the 21st week of the BRI Super League on Saturday.
Quoted from the club's official website, Sunday, Riekerink appreciated the efforts of Dewa United's players who were able to bring home full points from the final match of three consecutive away matches.
"Of course, we came here after three consecutive away games. I think we played well against Persebaya, even though we had to play with 10 men against 11," said Riekerink.
Having previously secured a win at PSM Makassar's home ground, Dewa United have played two away matches, drawing against Persebaya Surabaya and losing to Persik Kediri.
In the match against PSM Makassar, Dewa United managed to win thanks to goals scored by Vico Duarte and Alex Martins at the end of the match.
