Real Madrid displaced Barcelona from the top of the Spanish League standings after crushing Real Sociedad 4-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Two of Madrid's three goals were scored by Vinicius, while the other two were scored by Gonzalo Garcia and Federico Valverde.
Madrid now has 60 points, leapfrogging Barcelona at the top of the table by two points. Barcelona play against Girona early next Tuesday.
Sociedad are stuck in eighth place with 31 points.
Madrid opened the scoring less than five minutes into the match after Federico Valverde started the attack by sending the ball to Trent Alexander-Arnold, who crossed into the penalty box.
Gonzalo Garcia grabbed the ball with a right-footed shot along the ground towards the far post and put Madrid ahead 1-0.
Sociedad equalized in the 20th minute from the penalty spot after Dean Huijsen fouled Yangel Herrera in the penalty area.
