"PSIM will certainly strive to perform better. However, we will also fight hard to win this match and play as a team," said Persik Kediri coach Marcos Reina Torres in Kediri on Thursday.
He admitted that his foster children were in good condition, but to maintain the positive trend, good cooperation was also needed.
"It's not easy to maintain a winning streak. Therefore, we must remain focused and work together," he said.
The Spanish coach also emphasized that each match requires a different approach and strategy according to the opponent's character.
"We have to prepare the best game plan and take the right approach to face PSIM," he said.
He also urged the players to maintain discipline. Although this was a home match , the venue was not Brawijaya Stadium in Kediri, but rather outside the region.
"It's a home game, but it's not exactly like playing at home. Therefore, we must remain alert and fully focused," he said.
