Persik Kediri targets three points when facing PSIM Yogyakarta
Persik Kediri coach Marcos Reina Torres is targeting three points when hosting PSIM Yogyakarta, even though his team will have to play at home without the support of supporters in the 21st week of the BRI Super League 2025/2026 at Gelora Joko Samudro Stadium in Gresik, Friday (13/2).

"We're preparing for a match against a very good team with many dangers we have to avoid, but the target is to get three points," Torres said during a press conference at Gelora Joko Samudro Stadium, Gresik, on Thursday.

However, he said, the players must still feel the home atmosphere even though the stands are empty, and repay that support with maximum performance on the pitch.

"We have to try to feel at home and we will pay for it on the pitch," he said.

He added that his team had a week of training that was considered to have gone well in preparation for the match against an opponent who was said to have quality and dangerous players.

Torres said Persik was in a positive moment because the victory achieved in the previous match had also improved the players' mental condition.

On the other hand, he emphasized that Persik is still in the development stage so that performance improvements are carried out gradually from match to match.

Therefore, he said, his team continues to strive to improve every day as a team, both in terms of gameplay and mentality, so that consistency can be maintained throughout the competition.

"I hope Persik can perform a little better than in the previous match so we can maximize our chances of winning," he said.
