Quoted from the official I.League website, Wednesday, Tavares said Bali United is better prepared because it has a longer recovery time than Bajul Ijo.
The Portuguese coach believes that the long recovery period could be an advantage for Bali United, especially as they will be playing in front of their home crowd.
"They (Bali United) have two more days than us to prepare for the match and recover. (Therefore) right now our focus is on seeing who can play and who can't," said Tavares.
The former PSM Makassar coach explained that Persebaya Surabaya is facing less than ideal conditions because at least several players were absent from the match against Bali United.
