Indonesian men's singles player Anthony Sinisuka Ginting said his family was his biggest source of motivation to bounce back and reach the semifinals of an international tournament after being plagued by injury.
Ginting secured a place in the final four of the BWF World Tour Super 300 Swiss Open 2026 after defeating Indian representative Tharun Mannepalli with a score of 21-19, 19-21, 21-13 in the quarterfinal match at St. Jakobshalle.
"First of all, I'm grateful. I'm happy to have reached the semifinals after a long time. I'm grateful for the journey I've been on. Every injury has certainly made me stronger," Ginting said in an official statement from the Indonesian Badminton Association.
