Honor has launched its latest foldable phone, the Honor Magic V6, with a large 6,600 mAh battery and a new hinge that is claimed to be more robust.
As reported by Tech Crunch on Monday, Honor is once again highlighting the slim design of its foldable device. The Magic V6 is 4 mm thin when unfolded and 8.75 mm when folded, slightly thinner than the Magic V5, which was 4.1 mm thin when unfolded and 8.8 mm thick when folded.
One of the most significant improvements lies in the battery. The Magic V6 is equipped with a 6,600 mAh battery, up from the 5,820 mAh capacity of the previous model. With Honor SuperCharge technology, the device supports 80W wired fast charging and 66W wireless charging.
Honor also showcased its latest silicon-carbon battery technology with 32 percent silicon density, which has the potential to push foldable phone battery capacities to over 7,000 mAh in the future.
