The Indonesian government has established a strategic collaboration with the United Kingdom to pave the way for local startups to expand and compete in the global market.
Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Nezar Patria emphasized that Indonesia is currently a major force with the largest digital economy in Southeast Asia. However, Indonesian startups face obstacles when trying to expand their market, such as regulatory differences, cultural challenges, and a lack of established networks in international markets.
"For many of our startups , the journey beyond national borders is hindered by a 'glass ceiling.' We welcome the establishment of the UK Landing Pad, which is specifically designed to break through this barrier," said Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Technology Nezar in an official statement confirmed.
