Manchester City manager Joseph "Pep" Guardiola is ambitious about bringing the Citizens back to their former glory next season, following their failure in the round of 16 of the 2025/2026 Champions League.
In the Champions League round of 16 match at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester, Wednesday morning WIB, Manchester City acknowledged Real Madrid's strength with an aggregate score of 1-5.
"The future is very bright, and next season we will be back. We will learn from this failure," said Pep Guardiola, as quoted on the club's official.
The Spanish coach appreciated the hard work of Erling Haaland and his teammates during the match against El Real, despite playing with ten men following Bernardo Silva's red card.
