Plan International Indonesia expressed its support for the issuance of the Minister of Communication and Digital Regulation Number 9 of 2026 concerning the governance of electronic systems for child protection.
This support was conveyed in an official letter to the Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Meutya Hafid. In the letter, Plan International Indonesia Executive Director Dini Widiastuti assessed this policy as a concrete step to protect Indonesian children from various risks in the digital space.
"Plan Indonesia is called upon to support the implementation of this regulation and provide input to strengthen child protection policies in the digital space," Dini said in a statement.
