Starting the first quarter, RANS, playing in front of their home crowd, immediately dominated. Fuller's three-pointer gave RANS a commanding lead over Satya Wacana. RANS ultimately closed the first quarter with a 23-19 lead.
Entering the second quarter, RANS attempted to control the game's rhythm. Nine of their 13 shots from deep were enough to give RANS a point. Satya Wacana appeared under considerable pressure and had to settle for a 12-point lead, 33-45, at the end of the second quarter.
