Sporting CP striker Luis Suarez confirmed his team is confident of turning things around against Bodo/Glimt in the second leg of the 2025/2026 UEFA Champions League round of 16 at the Jose Alvalade Stadium, Lisbon.
"It will be a very difficult match, but we have confidence. Playing at home makes us a very strong team. We believe we can achieve a positive result and qualify for the next round," said Suarez, as quoted on Sporting CP's official.
The Colombian striker said the 0-3 defeat in the first leg at Bodo/Glimt's home ground did not dampen Sporting's motivation to qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals this season.
