The Ministry of Communication and Digital has dispatched members of a special task force for cellular operations to monitoring posts aimed at maintaining the quality of telecommunications services during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday.
"The government, through Komdigi, will continue to conduct regular monitoring to ensure that telecommunications services continue to run smoothly throughout Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2026," said Ismail, Secretary General of the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi), at a farewell ceremony for officers .
A task force formed by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology together with cellular operators XLSMART, Telkomsel, and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) was tasked with monitoring the quality of telecommunications services in strategic locations.
"This collaboration is a concrete manifestation of our commitment to providing a better and more comfortable homecoming experience for the Indonesian people," said Ismail.
The communication service monitoring task force is stationed at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Gambir Station, Semarang Tawang Station, KCIC Halim Station, and Tanjung Perak Port in Surabaya.
