The Mandalika Grand Prix Association (NGPA) stated that the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit in West Nusa Tenggara is ready to host the 2026 Mandalika Racing Series (MRS) national championship.
"This event will be held over five rounds at the Mandalika Circuit in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara," said MGPA President Director Priandi Satria .
He said that entering its fourth season, the event will be held again at the Mandalika Circuit with a total of five rounds throughout 2026.
The Mandalika Racing Series is an important part of the development of the national motorcycle racing ecosystem, particularly in developing and preparing Indonesian racers for international competitions.
"Since its inception in 2023, this championship has become a competitive platform for both young and experienced racers to improve their racing quality to meet national and international standards," he said.
The start of the 2026 season was marked by a surprise when Aldi Satya Mahendra made history by reaching the podium in the World Supersport class race at the Australian series.
