The Ministry of Communication and Digital has officially deployed special officers to monitor the quality of telecommunications networks to ensure smooth communication during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday.
To fulfill this monitoring task, Kemkomdigi operates three sophisticated tools starting from Spectrum analyzer, Portable monitoring receiver, and QualiPoc .
" The spectrum analyzer's function is for overall monitoring . We monitor several frequency bands for interference or to see if they are being used," said Andini Puspitasari, Radio Frequency Controller at the Radio Frequency Spectrum Monitoring Center at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Technology in Jakarta, at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Technology office.
Through this tool, the Ministry of Communication and Digital Technology generally monitors several frequency bands operated by cellular operators.
If there is interference in the detected frequency band waves, these results can be used as an indicator to provide notification to the cellular operator managing the frequency.
