Indonesia has secured three representatives to advance to the semifinals of the 2026 Ruichang China Masters tournament after women's doubles pair Lanny Tria Mayasari/Apriyani Rahayu, women's singles pair Ni Kadek Dhinda Amartya Pratiwi, and men's singles pair Prahdiska Bagas Shujiwo secured quarterfinal wins at Ruichang Sports Park Gym.
The seventh-seeded pair, Lanny/Apriyani, put on a solid performance when they defeated Taiwanese pair Hsien Mi Yen/Yu Chien Hui in two straight games 21-9, 21-17.
Lanny/Apriyani immediately took control of the match from the start of the first game. They led 11-6 at halftime before continuing to press with a fast-paced and varied attack, making it difficult for their opponents to develop their game, ending the game with a score of 21-9.
Entering the second game, the match became even tighter. Lanny/Apriyani even fell behind after halftime. However, a change in play, increasing the intensity of their attacks and improving their defense, allowed the Indonesian pair to regain control and secure the victory.
