14 Israelis were injured in missile attacks from Iran on central Israel

Israeli ambulance crews reported that 14 people, including an 11-year-old girl, were seriously injured after a missile barrage was detected from Iran.

Magen David Adom said in a statement that its crews “provided treatment and transported 14 injured people to hospitals, including an 11-year-old girl in serious condition due to shrapnel wounds to her limbs.”

Among the injured, according to the ambulance service, were “a woman (36 years old) and a boy (13 years old)... both injured by shrapnel and 11 with minor injuries.”

The ambulance service did not specify the locations where the injuries were recorded, while Israeli police reported receiving reports of “fragments of weapons and ammunition falling” in central Israel, including the coastal city of Tel Aviv.

its air defenses were working to intercept missiles launched from Iran after sirens were activated.

The army said in a statement, “A short time ago, the Israeli army detected missiles launched from Iran towards the territory of the State of Israel. Defense systems are working to intercept this threat.”
