Daily needs retailer AEON360 is collaborating with Google Cloud to deliver more real-time customer shopping interactions by leveraging AI to fulfill daily needs.
"Together with Google Cloud, we are transforming from simple digital interactions to leveraging AI agents that can provide the most relevant recommendations while also carrying out more complex tasks for customers," said AEON360 Chairman Daisuke Maeda, in a press statement received.
This implementation begins in Malaysia and will expand to several other countries in Southeast Asia. This collaboration centers on developing a context-based intelligence engine that goes beyond conventional personalization, with the ability to understand each customer's unique preferences and needs throughout their shopping journey within the AEON ecosystem.
Throughout the shopping journey, the system will also dynamically integrate various financing options and personalized rewards (such as installments, cashback, or AEON points), so that customers can get optimal benefits from the search stage to the checkout process.
