Egypt has announced the launch of the first company in the Middle East specializing in the design and manufacture of robots, called “Raedbots”.

The company was founded in response to the growing demand for automation solutions in the region. It offers advanced robotic solutions that are cost-effective, accessible, and tailored to better suit the needs of local industry compared to imported alternatives.

Mohamed Ibrahim, the company's Chief Technology Officer, stated that Raed Boots is redefining automation. It doesn't just build industrial robots; it provides integrated robotic solutions that help facilities, factories, and industrial processes improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance safety standards.

He added that the locally designed robotic arms significantly reduce initial investment, enabling manufacturers to adopt automation more quickly while maintaining high levels of accuracy and reliability.

Unlike imported or white-labeled systems, Raed Boots develops its robotic technologies entirely in-house at its Cairo labs, from mechanical and electronic design to AI-powered control systems and software.

For his part, Hamza Al-Sahiti, Chief Operating Officer, said that the company’s approach helps deliver solutions that offer up to 50% cost savings, while being tailored to suit regional manufacturing environments and operational requirements.

Al-Sahiti believes that Raed Boots is building a new generation of intelligent industrial robots powered by advanced artificial intelligence. These systems are designed for diverse applications including welding, CNC machining, material handling, packaging, and warehouse automation.

By combining robot hardware with its AI algorithms, the company provides industrial customers with greater accuracy, improved efficiency, and reduced downtime. The company’s roadmap includes multiple robotic platforms, collaborative robots, and high-speed industrial automation systems, along with integrated software and deployment solutions that simplify technology adoption for manufacturers of all sizes.

Raed Boots is proud to be part of the NVIDIA Inception program, making it one of the first physical AI and robotics startups in the Middle East to join this global initiative.

Through this collaboration, the company leverages NVIDIA’s latest simulation and AI technologies to build cutting-edge robotic solutions, accelerate development cycles, and deploy intelligent automation systems across various sectors.

Using NVIDIA’s AI-powered simulation infrastructure, Raed Boots is developing next-generation solutions capable of perception, intelligent motion planning, and autonomous task execution in real-world industrial environments.

Raed Boots is also part of the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) program of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Egypt, further strengthening its role in building local deep-tech manufacturing capabilities. This affiliation supports the company’s mission to establish a regional robotics industry and develop advanced automation technologies designed and manufactured in Egypt.

The mission of "Raed Boots" is to fundamentally transform industrial automation across the Middle East and Africa, by making robots smarter, cheaper, and locally available.

By designing and manufacturing robots within the region, the company helps industries modernize their operations, enhance their competitiveness, and accelerate their digital transformation.

Raed Boots is currently working with a range of factories, industrial partners, and research institutions to deploy its robotic systems, while simultaneously expanding its product portfolio and manufacturing capabilities.
