Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko listed some factors that help improve health and increase human lifespan.

In an interview with the Russian news agency Novosti, the minister said: "The increase in lifespan is not limited to advances in medicine alone, but is also influenced by many factors and lifestyle habits, such as daily lifestyle, participation in sports and cultural activities, exercise, and others. For example, exercising for 40 minutes a day helps improve more than 250 blood indicators by which health is assessed in general, even with abnormal values for these indicators."

He added: “In Russia, specialized medical centers are being established to support the health of citizens and contribute to increasing their life expectancy. These centers contribute to diagnosing the underlying health risks of various types of diseases, but everything depends on the individual, on the nature of their daily life, their desire to enjoy good health, and their adherence to medical recommendations. Developing the medical field to increase the life expectancy of citizens is of paramount importance in our country, and citizens should understand how to follow a healthy lifestyle and maintain their activity.”

It is worth noting that the field of "long-term health medicine" is included in the government guarantee program for providing free medical care to citizens in Russia, and its centers operate in Moscow and the city of Saransk.
