Persija is determined to continue its winning streak when they face hosts PSIM Yogyakarta in the 29th week of the 2025/2026 BRI Super League at the Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Bali.
Persija is riding a two-game winning streak with clean sheets heading into this match, with wins over Persebaya Surabaya (3-0) and PSBS Biak (1-0) respectively.
Not only that, the Kemayoran Tigers' preparations are also very positive after in the first meeting, they defeated Laskar Mataram with a score of 2-0.
"We are motivated and understand how important tomorrow's match is for us," said Persija coach Mauricio Souza, as quoted from Persija's official website.
Regarding preparations for tomorrow afternoon's match, Mauricio said his team's preparations were quite limited due to the policy of moving the match venue from the Sultan Agung Bantul Stadium to the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium.
Previously, Persija thought that this match would be held in Bantul, so they had planned to stay in Yogyakarta considering their last match on Saturday against PSBS was held in Sleman.
