RC Lens secured their place in the 2025/26 Coupe de France final after defeating Toulouse convincingly 4-1 at the Bollaert-Delelis Stadium on Wednesday morning WIB.
Florian Thauvin and Allan Saint-Maximin put Lens ahead. Toulouse responded through Santiago Hidalgo before goals from Matthieu Udol and Adrien Thomasson ended the visitors' resistance.
This result sends Lens to the Coupe de France final. They now await the winner of the other semifinal between Strasbourg and Nice.
The hosts took the lead in the 9th minute through Thauvin's penalty after a foul by Pape Diop.
Lens then doubled their lead nine minutes later through Saint-Maximin's goal, which benefited from a combination of Saud Abdulhamid and Thauvin.
Toulouse fought back, reducing the deficit to 1-2 in the 21st minute. Santiago Hidalgo scored after receiving a pass from Emerson.
However, Lens pulled ahead again in the 35th minute. Udol scored the home side's third goal, converting a cutback from Saud Abdulhamid. The score remained 3-1 at halftime.
Entering the second half, Lens continued to dominate proceedings. They recorded 62 percent possession and continued to pressure the Toulouse defense.
The final goal came in the 74th minute through a header from team captain, Adrien Thomasson, after receiving a pass from Abdulhamid.
The goal sealed a landslide 4-1 victory for Lens.
