Samsung has unveiled its promising device, "Project Luna," which combines the features of a home robot, a voice assistant, and a smart lamp.
Project Luna is a small device with a circular screen and a rotating head, visually resembling a lamp from a Pixar animated film. Its screen is mounted on a moving base and can rotate in response to the user's voice, meaning the device literally "follows" the user, creating a dynamic and unique interaction between them.
The device's screen displays various visual scenarios. In conversation mode, the user sees animations of the voice assistant, and when music is played, the interface transforms into an elegant vinyl record.
According to its developers, the main idea behind this device is to control the systems that Samsung provides for smart offices and homes. The device will not only pair with screens and smart devices, but will also be able to transfer content to screens. For example, the user will be able to transfer an image from the smart refrigerator screen to the TV screen, smartphone, or any device paired with "Project Luna".
According to available information, the new device will also be able to project information and images onto nearby surfaces such as small home projectors.
