Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Nezar Patria expressed his readiness to build collaboration on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) with the Social Security Administering Agency (BPJS) Health to improve the quality of data-based public services.
According to him, the need for large-scale data processing such as at BPJS Kesehatan can no longer rely on conventional approaches.
"Large-scale data management can no longer be done manually. The data is large and moves quickly. AI is a necessity for faster and more accurate public services," Nezar.
Nezar explained that the Ministry of Communication and Digital has prepared a talent development ecosystem through the AI Talent Factory program , which can be directly used to address these needs.
This program provides training for students from several leading universities to understand the use of AI, supported by real-life case studies and mentoring from global industry experts.
