The Ministry of Communication and Digital is presenting a series of digital literacy programs targeting women to create digitally savvy Indonesian women to celebrate Kartini Day 2026.
One of the activities is collaborating with the global digital design platform Canva to utilize this platform to create creations with technology to support the implementation of regulations to create a safe and friendly digital space for women and children.
"We will be opening a Kartini class with Canva, specifically for women. There will be two activities: the first will introduce the Tunas Program and how it is implemented. The second session will feature a workshop on utilizing this platform to implement the Tunas Program in their respective communities," said Rizki Ameliah, Head of Digital Literacy Development at the Human Resources Development Agency of the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs.
The creation of digital skills in women through digital literacy is not only limited to supporting Indonesian women's ability to use the internet but also includes utilizing the internet to create added value, including from an economic perspective.
