The Director of Digital Infrastructure Acceleration at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Mulyadi, revealed the government's strategy to grow digital infrastructure until 2029 to ensure the success of the 2025-2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN).
From internetization to encouraging the adoption of open access principles , the Ministry of Communication and Digital will implement strategies to achieve the target of growing digital infrastructure to support government programs.
"The first priority is fiberization. This is important because fiber optic networks are key to sustainable services, both fixed and mobile broadband , especially 5G backhaul ," Mulyadi said at a discussion held by APJATEL Association of Telecommunication Network Providers.
