Two people were killed in an Israeli attack targeting a car in the town of Al-Tayri in southern Lebanon

Israeli forces continue their attacks in Lebanon, violating the ten-day truce declared by US President Donald Trump, which ends Friday morning, Beirut local time.

On Wednesday, Israeli forces targeted a car in the town of Al-Tayri in southern Lebanon, killing two people who were inside it.

This was preceded by Israeli drone flights over the southern city of Tyre and most of the villages and towns in the Tyre district.

Israeli forces also carried out systematic bombing operations in residential neighborhoods in the city of Bint Jbeil and the villages of Beit Leef, Shamaa, Tayr Harfa and Hanin in southern Lebanon.

The National News Agency reported that a wounded Hezbollah member surrendered to Israeli forces after they threatened to bomb an ambulance.

The injured man had crawled from the city of Bint Jbeil to the town of Ain Ebel, and members of the Lebanese Civil Defense in the town of Rmeish provided him with first aid before contacting the Lebanese Red Cross to transport him to a safe area.

The agency indicated that “Israeli forces in the town of Dibil learned of the presence of the wounded man, so they asked the paramedics via telephone to hand him over, threatening to bomb the ambulance, but the paramedics refused,” explaining that “the wounded man then decided to walk towards the town of Dibil to surrender himself, out of concern for the safety of the paramedics and the people of the area, knowing that he had lost a large amount of blood as a result of his injury.”

In response, Hezbollah announced on Wednesday that it had targeted a newly established Israeli army position in the town of Al-Bayada, Tyre district, with a drone strike, and that flames were seen engulfing one of its rooms.

The Israeli army said in a statement that “the drone was intercepted by the air force, did not cross, and did not trigger the alarms in accordance with the established policy.”
