The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that Israeli raids on southern Lebanon during the past twenty-four hours resulted in 31 martyrs and 61 wounded.
The ministry said that the total toll of the Israeli aggression since March 2 has risen to 3,073 martyrs and 9,362 wounded, in a non-final tally.
In this context, the National News Agency reported that the raids that targeted southern Lebanon on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning resulted in 12 martyrs and 3 wounded.
She added that rescue teams are continuing search operations in Deir Qanoun al-Nahr – Tyre district, where the body of a young Syrian man was recovered from under the rubble.
She noted that 11 of the victims belonged to one family, and that search operations were continuing for missing persons.
In a separate incident, Lebanese Red Cross teams found two Syrian youths in a rugged mountainous area on the outskirts of the town of Shebaa, after they were targeted by an Israeli drone strike. One of them was found dead and the other seriously injured, and they were transferred to Rashaya Governmental Hospital.
Israeli officer injured in drone attack
Simultaneously, the Israeli army announced that an officer was seriously injured, a reserve officer was moderately injured, and a reserve soldier was lightly injured, as a result of a booby-trapped drone crashing in southern Lebanon, explaining that they were evacuated to the hospital.
For its part, the Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that the commander of the 401st Armored Brigade, Colonel Meir Biderman, was among those injured in the attack, noting that his condition was serious.
For its part, Hezbollah announced that it had carried out attacks on Israeli military sites in northern Israel and southern Lebanon, including targeting a Merkava tank in the town of Taybeh with a drone, confirming direct hits, amid continued escalation despite the fragile ceasefire agreement.
