Amid fires and destruction, injuries resulted from an Israeli bombing that targeted a house west of Gaza

The Civil Defense Authority in Gaza said in a statement: "Israeli occupation forces bombed a ground-floor house belonging to the Al-Adham family in the Al-Shati area with a war missile, resulting in the injury of about 9 citizens."

The Civil Defense added that the Israeli bombing led to "the complete destruction of the house, in addition to damage to dozens of neighboring houses and buildings, and the outbreak of fires in a number of them, which threatens to deprive dozens of families of remaining in their homes as a result of the extent of the damage and the existing danger."

He called on "the international community, human rights organizations, and mediators to intervene urgently to protect civilians in the Gaza Strip and to work to stop the targeting of residential neighborhoods and civilian facilities."

A medical source indicated that injuries, including a child, arrived at Al-Shifa Hospital in western Gaza, following the Israeli air raid that targeted a house in the Al-Shati camp west of the city.

Eyewitnesses stated that Israeli warplanes bombed the house shortly after the occupation army threatened to target it and issued orders to evacuate the entire residential block.

Witnesses noted that an Israeli reconnaissance plane initially fired a missile at the house, but it did not explode. Later, a fighter jet returned and bombed the house, destroying it and setting it on fire, and damaging a number of neighboring houses.

The Israeli bombing has displaced dozens of Palestinian families, most of whom live in tents or damaged and dilapidated homes as a result of the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.

Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians are crowded into the western areas of the Gaza Strip, after the Israeli occupation army seized control of more than 50% of the Strip's area, mostly in the eastern regions.

As part of its ongoing violations, Israel killed 846 Palestinians and injured 2,418 others through bombing and gunfire, according to the Ministry of Health.

The agreement was reached two years after a genocide that began on October 8, 2023, with American support, and continued later in various forms, leaving more than 72,000 martyrs and more than 172,000 wounded Palestinians, and massive destruction affecting 90% of the civilian infrastructure.
