China showcased its innovations in robotics and electronic products at a trade fair in Beijing.
A boxing match in China before an enthusiastic crowd. In the ring, robots. A reality presented at the World Robot Conference (WRC) in Beijing. The mechanical boxers punch and defend themselves like humans, even getting back up after being knocked out.
“The robots you see here have 29 degrees of freedom (DOF). They perform fluid movements, including left and right punches, precise kicks, and can even execute combos. This model is now in mass production. Today’s demonstration highlights its exceptional mobility capabilities. Only when robots have truly robust mobility capabilities will they be able to enter every home and effectively serve people. Beyond entertainment, they can be used in industrial applications such as patrol and inspection tasks ,” said Chu Yang, marketing manager for UNITREE ROBOTICS, based in Hangzhou, eastern China, which showcased its latest humanoid and quadruped robot models.
It's incredible. I've seen new innovations and technologies. I came to discover new innovations. I would like to partner with many Chinese companies to introduce them to Nigeria and Africa, so that we can have beautiful exhibitions like this one ," says Tim, a Nigerian entrepreneur.
