Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Angga Raka Prabowo emphasized that radio frequency spectrum management is a crucial factor in maintaining Indonesia's digital sovereignty amidst the rapid development of global technology and artificial intelligence (AI).
"This frequency is very strategic and crucial. From radio and communications to the transportation sector, everyone uses it. Frequency is key to our digital transformation," Angga said in a statement confirmed.
Therefore, the government is strengthening oversight of the radio frequency spectrum as the main foundation of national digital services, from the internet and mobile communications to the development of AI technology and modern transportation systems.
