Imran Nahumarury promises to stay at Semen Padang

Semen Padang coach Imran Nahumarury stated that he will remain with the team despite being relegated to the Championship League.

"Whatever the conditions, even if we are relegated, I will never leave this team," Imran said in a press conference ahead of the match against Persija.

Semen Padang will travel  to play their final match in the Super League, which is also Kabau Sirah's journey in the highest competition of Indonesian football this season.

The match has no impact on the fate of the West Sumatra team because it has already been relegated from the Super League, so the match will only be an opportunity for Semen Padang to close the season with the best possible result.

Semen Padang is in 17th place with 20 points. Regardless of the result against Persija, whether a win, a draw, or a loss, their position remains unchanged.

Semen Padang is also being rocked by financial issues after the players have not received their salaries from management.

Off-field issues, such as financial problems, impacted the team's morale, particularly regarding the players' motivation and mental state. Despite this, the team remained focused and focused on completing the competition successfully.
