Megawati is determined to bring Hyundai Hillstate to win the Korean Volleyball League

 

  Indonesian volleyball star Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi is determined to lead Hyundai Hillstate to victory in the Korean Volleyball League, or V-League, for the 2026/2027 season.

"I will give my best so that the team can lift the championship trophy with a more mature performance when it returns to the V-League," said Megawati Hangestri Pertiwi, as reported by South Korean media outlet Daum, as quoted in Jakarta on Monday.

Megawati was announced as Hyundai Hillstate's new recruit via the club's official Instagram account. The Jember, East Java native fills the Asian player quota for the 2026/2027 season.

The volleyball player, who is familiarly called Megatron, said she was proud to be able to join one of the big clubs in South Korea which has a long name and history in women's volleyball competitions.

"I feel honored to be able to play for a strong and historic team like Hyundai Hillstate," said Megawati, as quoted by Daum.

Megawati emphasized that she did not want to waste this opportunity and was ready to make her best contribution to the team.
