Persib Bandung management has prepared a champion's convoy route that will pass through several historic areas in Bandung City if they successfully secure the 2025/2026 Super League title on Sunday (May 24).
Deputy CEO of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat Adhitia Putra Herawan said the convoy was planned to start from the Gedung Sate area and end at the Pendopo Kota Bandung.
"Previously, it was from City Hall to Gedung Sate, but this time it's from Gedung Sate to Pendopo. So, our goal is to introduce three historical points in Bandung," Adhitia said in a statement received in Bandung.
According to him, the route was chosen to introduce a number of historical points in the city of Bandung to the public.
Adhitia mentioned three main locations that will be passed, namely the statue of Persib Bandung legend Ajat Sudrajat on Jalan Lembong, the zero kilometer point of Asia Africa, and the Merdeka Building area.
"God willing, there will be a trophy-raising ceremony at the JPO at the Merdeka Building," he said.
He said that choosing the Asia-Africa route also symbolizes the hope that Persib will be able to achieve further achievements at the Asian level in the coming season.
The convoy route starts from the west parking area of Gedung Sate, then crosses Jalan Banda, Jalan Riau, Jalan Merdeka, Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, the Viaduct area, Jalan Lembong, to Jalan Veteran and Jalan Asia Afrika.
Adhitia said that after the trophy-raising ceremony at the Pedestrian Bridge (JPO) in the Merdeka Building area, the players were scheduled to walk to the Bandung City Hall as the convoy's final point.
