Persis Solo Director apologizes

Persis Solo Director Ginda Ferachtriawan apologized after the team nicknamed Laskar Sambernyawa was confirmed to have been relegated from the highest caste of Indonesian football.

Quoted from the club's official website, Sunday, Ginda realized that the supporters' disappointment was a reflection of their failure to meet expectations and maintain the pride of this city.

"I'm not asking you to forget this pain — hold on to it, and let it fuel us all to get back to where we belong," Ginda wrote.

Ginda said that he never doubted the loyalty and contribution of supporters to Persis Solo, so this difficult moment became an opportunity to strengthen their bond even more.

He added that his party was responsible for this matter and reported all the dynamics that occurred to the owners and they promised that all contributions from supporters would not be in vain.

He ensured that Persis Solo would immediately improve and repair the foundations that were not good so they would need to work twice as hard as before.

"After the competition is over, we won't take a long break and will immediately prepare to restructure everything," Ginda said.

Ginda added that this moment is a comprehensive evaluation of the coaching staff, officials, and staff so that they can immediately design the team starting in June.

"We fell together today, but with your support, I'm sure we'll rise again and come back with a much stronger mentality," he said.

Persis Solo has been relegated from the top tier of the BRI Super League 2025/2026 after finishing 16th in the standings with 34 points from 34 matches.

Despite having the same points as PSM Makassar, who are in the safest position at the bottom, Persis Solo lost the head-to-head match against Juku Eja and were relegated to the Championship next season.
