The Russian company Ntechlab announced the development of a new security system for analyzing videos, capable of recognizing and comparing 1.5 billion faces in 0.3 seconds.

Sergei Titov, the company's director of international business, said in an interview with the Russian news agency Novosti: "The Findface security system we developed will help analyze videos to compare and recognize 1.5 billion faces in just 0.3 seconds, which is six times faster than competing security systems. This is crucial in situations where time is of the essence, such as when searching for and arresting a criminal who is still at large."

He added: "To improve the quality and speed of the search, we have added additional features to the system that allow for the identification of people by age, gender, clothing, backpacks, hats, glasses, masks, beards..."

Titov pointed out that the system is characterized by speed, accuracy and data privacy protection, as it stores data on a secure server owned by the client, which means that only the client will be able to access that data.

Ntechlab is a world leader in AI-based video analytics systems and a technology partner of the Russian Rostec Corporation. It currently provides its services in 45 countries around the world.
