Shopee, in collaboration with the Lingkar Pena Forum, held a workshop for 100 young writers from various regions to support the birth of new works while increasing understanding of copyright protection in the digital era.

Through this year's Local Writers Festival, we always strive to provide opportunities for aspiring writers to learn, exchange ideas, and understand how to protect their work on e-commerce platforms like Shopee," said Head of Corporate Affairs Shopee Indonesia Satrya Pinandita in an official statement.
The workshop
, themed "Turning Ideas into Works: Writing Recipes for Today's Readers and Protecting Works in the Digital Era," was held in commemoration of National Book Day. The activity was part of the 2026 Local Writers Festival, Shopee's campaign to promote, support, and protect original books by local Indonesian authors.
