One of Indonesia's conglomerate giants, Sinar partnered with China Mobile to launch an artificial intelligence (AI) innovation called Libra, designed to support various corporate and business activities.
The launch of the AI solution took place at ITB Innovation Park, Bandung, West Java Province, organized by PT Asix Indonesia Cerdas, a subsidiary of Sinar Mas under PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA), together with China Mobile JiuTian Artificial Intelligence Technology (Beijing) Company Limited.
"Libra isn't just a tool, it's also a secure digital partner that helps teams work more agilely. From finding critical information to streamlining internal workflows, Libra boosts productivity without compromising company data security," said Andrie Tjioe, President Director of PT Asix Indonesia Cerdas.
Libra is designed to increase the productivity of corporate and business activities through a variety of intelligent features that reduce administrative barriers and accelerate decision-making.
Users can access an AI assistant for quick and accurate answers to complex questions, document translation and summarization services, and meeting transcriptions. Libra also features an image generator, automatic subtitles, and multilingual voiceover features to support business communication and content creation.
Patrick Hu, Senior Solutions Manager at China Mobile JiuTian Company, said that Libra focuses on providing robust enterprise-scale infrastructure and ensuring that corporate users will get high stability, scalability, and security.
This collaboration also received praise from the Head of the Data and Information Bureau of the Presidential Advisory Council, M. Arfan Sahib Sali Kando, who called Libra an innovation that aligns with the government's agenda to accelerate digital transformation. He also emphasized the importance of partnerships between government, industry, academia, and technology players.
The Libra launch was held at the ITB Innovation Park which is also home to a joint AI lab collaboration between Sinar Mas, China Mobile and the Bandung Institute of Technology.
