Medical sources at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah reported the death of Muhammad Abu Malouh (38 years old), his wife Alaa Zaqlan (36 years old), and their child Osama (one year old), in addition to the injury of 3 others, as a result of an Israeli raid that targeted their home in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Local sources said that Israeli aircraft targeted the house at dawn without prior warning, despite it being located outside the areas of deployment and control of the Israeli occupation army under the agreement.
In the northern Gaza Strip, a Palestinian fisherman was moderately wounded when the Israeli navy fired shells and machine gun fire at fishing boats off the coast of Gaza City, according to medical sources.
The occupation army also carried out demolition operations on buildings and facilities within its areas of control east of Beit Lahia town in the northern Gaza Strip, amid the sound of large explosions, according to local sources.
In Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, the Israeli army carried out similar demolition operations within its controlled areas east of the city, coinciding with gunfire and artillery shelling near the Bani Suheila roundabout, according to local sources.
Sources indicated that five massive explosions were heard since dawn on Sunday as a result of the demolition operations.
According to the Gaza Health Ministry, the continued violations of the ceasefire agreement up to Saturday resulted in the deaths of 890 Palestinians and injuries to 2,677 others.
The agreement was reached after a two-year Israeli war on the Gaza Strip that began on October 8, 2023, which resulted in more than 72,000 Palestinian martyrs and more than 172,000 wounded, in addition to widespread destruction affecting about 90% of the civilian infrastructure, while the United Nations estimated the cost of reconstruction at about $70 billion.
